VikingPLoP 2013 location: Horse Inn of Luomajärvi

Accommodation is arranged at the venue location and will be included in the entrance fee for the conference. At the venue location you can enjoy quiet countryside, rustic buildings and farm animals. In the saturday evening you will enjoy traditional finnish sauna and bathing barrel under starry sky.

You can sense true camping spirit as we share accomodation and facilities. There is a nice bathroom in main building in your use. If you wish to stay in hotel, there is a spa hotel 12 km from the venue location. However, in this case you will have to take care of the reservation and transportations by yourself. The venue is approximately 60 km from Tampere.

Travel information

The location can be reached by flying directly to Tampere or to Helsinki. If you fly to Helsinki you can catch a train or a bus to travel to Tampere. From Tampere railway station there will be a joint transportation to the venue location organized by the chairs. More information on this this transportation will be provided later on. However, if you arrive late or leave early you need to arrange transportation by yourself. Tampere can be reached also by cheap flight company Ryanair from various locations.
